Capital Campaign: $1.1 million raised
Challenge
The senior pastor, Fraser Venter wanted to position the church for a relocation into a permanent church home. In particular, he was looking for assistance in strengthening the health and vitality of the body so that it would be ready for a cross-town move in the future.
Enter Buck Rogers
My initial engagement with the ministry staff began with a two day strategic planning retreat. An implementation review process was installed to build accountability for follow through and execution on the top priorities. And then I began coaching Fraser twice a month for his own personal and professional growth.
Solutions in Action
Over time, my role with the staff expanded. I transitioned from a consultant to a trusted advisor, coach, and friend of the ministry. I met with the staff on a monthly basis to work on the ministry together as we wrestled with greater vision clarity and ministry alignment.
Results
Today Cucamonga Christian Fellowship is in their very own church building. Working behind the scenes with the staff helped position the church to raise $1.1 million in cash and commitments needed for the move. I helped run the capital campaign project which culminated in the congregation holding services in a newly renovated complex in late 2011.
Customer Testimonial
Over the last couple of years we have also utilized Buck in one of our largest capital campaign efforts in the history of our church. His strategic and on-time management from the inception to the conception of this project was vital in us being able to finally purchase our first church property.
